Experience developing JVM-based (Scala/Java) applications using:

Java frameworks – Akka, Spring Boot, Spring, JSP, EJB, J2EE, Servlets, Struts

Middleware & distributed messaging - Kafka, Tibco EMS, RabbitMQ

In-memory data grids and caches – Gemfire, Hazlecast

Web service implementation – REST, SOAP, service definition (Swagger/OpenAPI)

Experience with developing software that processes, persists and distributes data via relational and non-relational technologies:

Distributed data processing (Apache Spark, Storm, Samza, Flink)

NoSQL databases (HDFS, Hbase, Neo4J, Cassandra, MongoDB)

Data exchange formats (JSON, XML, RDF)

RDBMS (Oracle) development

Experience with container technologies (Docker, Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and supporting frameworks (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Mesos)

Experience with CI/CD build pipelines and toolchain – Git, BitBucket, TeamCity, Artifactory, Jira

Experience with testing concepts (TDD, BDD) and frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium, FluentLenium, Junit)

Scripting ability (ideally Python)

Knowledge of Operating Systems and familiar with shell scripting
